Our History
APS was formed in 1991 with two staff and a single client - the University of Auckland. By the end of that year, APS had 25 clients. Working with schools and universities remained the APS' staple for the following four years. By 1996 APS had almost 50 staff but the business was limited to providing commercial painting services. In 1997 APS expanded into multi-trade work, becoming a Complete Property Maintenance Company. Around this time we also became involved in national projects such as re-imaging for large retail chains. APS has increased from $600,000 turnover in our first year to over $30 million per annum - and still growing

Our strong project management process and experience allows us to complete projects efficiently and provide our clients with a three year workmanship warranty on any project we undertake. We also encourage and promote manufacturer specifications and warranties where applicable. Product warranties can vary from 5 to 10 years or more but require manufacturer involvement and strict adherence to their specification. APS have worked with all of the major and reputable suppliers in the Property Maintenance industry and have excellent relationships with each of them.
